In partnership with the Buenos Aires Ministry of Urban Development and Google Maps technology, BGH Air Conditioners developed a cutting-edge software program that transformed sunlight into savings.
By measuring the sun’s impact on each home in Buenos Aires, the program offered significant discounts on new air conditioners based on the amount of sunlight exposure.
Transforming sunlight into discounts:
Residents simply logged onto BGH’s website, entered their address, and the software calculated how many hours of sunlight their homes received. The more sunlight exposure, the greater the discount offered on their air conditioner purchase. The substantial discounts made high-quality air conditioners more accessible.
The result
With an initial investment of $40,000 BGH obtained a turnover of over $14 million and managed to install their air conditioners in more than 49,000 homes. Watch the video below.
