Graphic designers, beer-lovers and package design aficionados will love these minimalist beer cans and bottles created by Spanish designer Txaber. The can/bottle colors match the Pantone hue of the brew inside.
Pantone (for non-designers) is a color system used in specifying printing inks. Txaber has covered nine brews so far – pale lager, lager, pilsner, wheat beer, golden ale, dark ale, porter, stout and imperial stout.
Playing devil’s advocate, Txaber obviously wanted to go for an abstract blurry typeface (Hipstelvetica), but in our opinion, a better choice could have been made. One that complements the stylish, chic design (Walkway or Bebas Neue anyone?). What do you think? Share this post and voice your views in the comments below.
