What makes a successful logo? Is it color, simplicity, or the way symbols and typography work together?
To find out, Smart Sign analyzed 2,000 logos from the Inc. 5000 list of America’s fastest growing companies and identified the most common design patterns among them.
The results are surprisingly clear: 56% of these companies use blue or dark colors (black and gray) as their primary logo colors, 66% combine an icon with a wordmark, and 94% follow a minimal design approach.
Could certain logo design attributes be linked to business success? Here’s a visual breakdown of the key patterns found in the study.
