“Everybody Loves A Handyman” In These Brilliant Ads From Ace Hardware Tools

Women love a man who knows how to use his tools. In a 2013 survey by Daily Mail UK, 74% of women said that the most sexy trait in a man is an aptitude for Do-It-Yourself (DIY). It’s safe to assume this holds true for women everywhere – from Manchester to Makati.

Labor Day in the Philippines is a public holiday celebrating Filipino workers, a large part of whom are male blue-collar workers. These men are said to have a strong sex appeal to women because of their handy skills. Ace Hardware and agency Ogilvy & Mather decided to visualize this affinity by using hand tools to get the message across. Check out the ads below.
