The Adobe Max Creativity Conference is an annual endeavour by the tech giant to showcase potential future technologies, tools, and features that may ultimately be integrated into their product suite.
But this year, Adobe came up with a unique innovation in the fashion space that left the crowd awestruck and has gotten everyone talking about the possible implementations of this new tech.
Adobe displayed an interactive dress titled Project Primrose that can change its design, color, pattern, and even animate in real time! Unlike traditional clothing which is static, Primrose allows the wearer to refresh their look within a few seconds.
The wearable and flexible, non-emissive textile allows an entire surface to display content created with Adobe Firefly, After Effects, Illustrator and Adobe Stock. Designers can incorporate this technology into clothing, furniture, and other surfaces. Watch Christine Dierk, research scientist at Adobe, showcase this unique innovation at the Max Conference below.
