Agency TBWA\Paris has come up with a witty campaign for McDonald’s France, to announce the reopening of their fast-food restaurants across the country. The minimalist ads use pixelated color blocks to remind people of popular menu items, namely The Big Mac, Fries, Cheeseburger, and Filet-o-Fish. The tagline reads “Guess who’s back”.
In yet another bold move, no McDonald’s logo has been used in any of the ads. The campaign relies purely on the consumer’s recall of their food products and colors. The ads will run in print, outdoor, and social media.
