Android’s Latest Ad Shows Unlikely Animal Friendships And Is Absolutely Adorable

In less than a week, Android’s latest ad titled “Friends Furever” has amassed over 7.8 million views and 330k Facebook shares. The 1:02 spot is a mashup of video clips that show unlikely animal pairings (dog-dolphin, hippo-sheep, monkey-horse, etc.) with ‘Oo-De-Lally’ from Disney’s Robin Hood playing in the background. The tagline at the end reminds you to “Be Together. Not the Same.” Check it out below.

Droga5 is the agency involved. In October 2014, Android launched its “Be Together” campaign with a series of interesting commercials that spoke about amalgamating different people, mindsets and approaches to attain a common good. Check them out below (playlist).
