8 Thought-Provoking Illustrations That Put Men In The Place Of Women

In 2020, during the lockdown, Lainey Molnar began sharing her experiences as a woman through her art, quickly gaining recognition for her compelling portrayals of challenging social issues. Now, with over 1 million followers on social media, Molnar has released a new series that has caught the public’s eye.

The series, named ‘Imagine a World Like This,’ creatively flips gender roles to highlight the unfair double standards faced by women.

Lainey shared that it took her several days to illustrate these artworks, and when they were done, she had goosebumps as she swiped through the images. It seemed surreal and heartbreaking to her to live in this world.

1.

You need to cover up if you go outside, don't tempt women, they have no self-control.

2.

Is this what you were wearing when it happened? How much did you drink?

3.

*Whistle* Looking good, sweetheart! Where are you going?

4.

He has completely let himself go since he had the baby, his poor wife probably gets no pleasure at all.

5.

You cannot marry my daughter. You are worthless, you're not a virgin!

6.

We better teach you early on, you can only fulfill your desires and duty by serving your wife!

7.

My photos got leaked online. Everyone calls me a s--t, nobody will ever respect me, my entire future is ruined!

8.

Look at him, 30 and unmarried! He brings deep shame onto his family, not fulfilling his only purpose...

9.

No need to imagine we are living in it. It's just that all characters are girls and women.

Replies:

Choosing to dress how you want is great. Being FORCED or pressured is something entirely different

No, you cannot get outside without a female relative accompanying you. Travel? Do you have your wife written permission?

A 40-something (or 50-something) man in a body that is larger than societal standards dictates flirts with a much-younger, conventionally attractive woman: "Poor guy! He must be so lonely and desperate!"

As a hijabie I'm struggling with opposite. The whole world is trying real hard to make me take off my scarf. And I'm like "LEAVE ME THE HELL ALONE"

I just had my knee replaced and can only wear loose fitting pajama bottoms, really nice ones I ordered from Macy's. I went to the store and it was a woman, not a man that shamed me for wearing pajamas in public. Poor thing, she picked on the wrong person, I gave her a wonderful holiday earful. Society is just too much most times

Can you imagine what the world would be like today if women were equal to men since the beginning of time? Blows my mind and p****s me off to think about how many smart, talented girls and women throughout history could have made a difference in different ways but simply could not

As a woman, I'd be offended. Idk how men aren't. Instead they feel proud about it. Very odd to me

You know, son, women are polygamous, it's how it is, it's their nature. You just need to be wise and understanding. She will have enough fun and will eventually settle down more

"No kids yet? And you're 30? 35? 38? The clock is ticking! Is there something wrong with your Spl _m?"

It reminds me a french movie called «I'm not an easy man » where gender roles and expectations are inverted, and you realize how absurd and stupid the society is toward women. And how much men have build a society that serve them. Worth watching !!

A disturbingly large number of men forget that women are people
