The ‘Faces of Drunk Driving’ campaign is an initiative by the Texas Department of Transportation, highlighting the (changed) lives of drunk driving car crash victims.
They’ve come up with an excellent website dedicated to the lives of two car crash victims – Sean Carter and Jacqui Saburido. The former now uses a computer to speak while the latter’s face was burnt beyond recognition. The website uses strong visual narratives to detail the victims’ life, before and after the tragic accidents. The bold messaging brings the ‘dont-drink-and-drive’ point across in an effective and powerful manner. Do check it out.
