Mantas Grauzinis is a freelance illustrator and animator based in Vilnius, Lithuania. He loves good stories and “splashy, smoother than butter movements”. His passion for the latter can be observed in a series of slick animations of hand-lettered logos created by him, that are extremely satisfying to watch.
Mantas used an Apple iPad Pro, Apple Pencil and Toon Boom Studio to create these graphics. Each animation was hand-drawn frame-by-frame, the way artists did before computers came along. This technique is also known as cel animation, where cel stands for celluloid (transparent sheets used for traditional animation). Check out Mantas’ work below.
