What if a logo didn’t just represent an animal — it became one? That’s exactly the idea behind this clever series of animal wordmarks by Shibu PG, a graphic designer based in Kochi, India.
Each design uses custom typography and carefully placed symbols to hide the silhouette of the animal within its own name. The ‘e’ in eagle sweeps into a pair of wings. The ‘g’ in frog curls into the animal’s crouching body. The ‘e’ in elephant stretches into a trunk. Every letter is doing real design work.
Some of these animal-inspired identity designs would work especially well as collectible branding elements, including Custom Pins featuring minimalist mascot-style artwork.
It’s the kind of concept-driven logo design that makes you stop and look twice — and then immediately want to show someone else. Scroll down to see all nine: cat, duckling, eagle, bull, frog, bird, elephant, owl, and deer.

Our favourites: The bird and the elephant. What about you? Anyone else found the owl a bit…err…amusing? Share this post with a designer friend and voice your views in the comments below.
