Here’s a WTF concept that no one probably thought of until now. CodeBabes offers video tutorials in HTML, CSS, PHP, etc., but with a twist. Watch the lesson, pass the quiz and your instructor will lose one piece of clothing. That’s right, the more code you learn, the less clothes they wear. Check out this promo video featuring CodeBabe Cami Li explaining the concept.
While social media has been abuzz with rumours about CodeBabes being just a huge troll or a fake concept, the fact of the matter is that more and more tutorials are being uploaded every week. Check them out below.

The recent controversy regarding sexism in Silicon Valley seems to have created a backlash against CodeBabes with leading publications condemning the tutorials as ‘sexist’, ‘sad’ and ‘the worst thing on the internet’. There’s even a parody website that’s come up. The CodeBabes team seemed unfazed by all the negative feedback and had this to say in response via Twitter:
People hate us so much that we've streamed 9.23 TB of lesson videos in 2 days 😉
