New York-based product designer Bernadette Sheridan has a condition called Grapheme-color synesthesia, in which, she perceives letters and numbers as very specific colors. As a result, when she meets new people and hears their name, her mind starts visualizing the colors of each letter.
To document this phenomenon, Bernadette has launched a synesthesia project titled What Color Is Your Name that creates color palettes by assigning a particular color to each letter of your name. This is basically how Bernadette would visualize your name. You can download your color palette and also purchase a print version on Etsy. Check out some examples from the project below.
