Turkish water pump manufacturer Standart Pompa (Standard Pump) wanted to raise awareness and draw attention to the protection of water resources. On World Water Day, 22 March, they tried out a little social experiment. They designed a custom fountain and placed it in the middle of Bağdat Street. They turned it on and let the water run, waiting for one of the passersby to close the tap. The weather was cold and most people didn’t want to get their hands out of their pockets. Watch the video below to know more.
The agency is Hisseli Harikalar Fabrikası, Istanbul. It’s worth mentioning that most of the people who took action said that the gifts weren’t necessary and it was their duty. Also, the fountain was designed to recirculate water and had a refinement system so that not even a single drop is wasted.
