Graphic designers, beer-lovers and package design aficionados will love these minimalist beer cans and bottles created by Spanish designer Txaber. The can/bottle colors match the Pantone hue of the brew inside.
Pantone is a color system used in specifying printing inks. Txaber has covered nine brews so far – pale lager, lager, pilsner, wheat beer, golden ale, dark ale, porter, stout, and imperial stout.
The project won a Silver Pentaward under the Concept Category.

Playing devil’s advocate, Txaber obviously wanted to go for an abstract blurry typeface (Hipstelvetica), but in our opinion, a better choice could have been made. One that complements the stylish, chic design (Walkway or Bebas Neue anyone?). What do you think?
