‘Less Talking, More Doing’ is the title of Microsoft’s new commercial which pits the Windows 8 tablet against the iPad and has received over 3 million YouTube views within a week. Does the commercial do a good job of convincing consumers or is the title more appropriate the other way around? We want your opinion.
The spot starts off with both devices placed side-by-side with the Windows 8 tablet showcasing its auto-updating interface and multitasking features followed by a Siri-like voice narrating that she’s unable to do the same on the iPad (if you’ve been living under a rock for the past few years, Siri is the virtual assistant in iOS). The commercial also highlights the lack of Microsoft Office apps on iOS and the price difference between similar spec models of both tablets.
